It is due to the USD, and it is due to supply and demand. Too bad this guy isn’t in Congress. The speculators are also watching other indicators to try and figure out if the bad economy will decrease the demand.

He also mentions that just talking about drilling offshore helped the recent drop in prices.

I have decided that it is indeed time to sue the US Congress over the high price of energy, and the bill they tried to pass earlier this year has opened them up to the suit. Now, it seems that if anyone were to be able to sue the government, it would be the oil companies who are being restricted. However, I discovered something recently. I discovered that I am the one paying 50 bucks a week to fill up my 4 cylinder Saturn. I also got an interesting email from Florida Power and Light.

He served 7 years in the Illinois state legislature before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004. He served just 2 years in the Senate before declaring his candidacy for the office of President. He has relied on his gifted oratory skills to deliver speeches that have inspired a cult-like following. It will come as no surprise that I do not share the same lofty opinion of the junior Senator from Illinois.
